You will not be able to miss the obligatory visit to the Indigenous Eyes Ecological Park in a private protected area managed by the Punta Cana Ecological Foundation. The nature reserve consists of subtropical lowland forests. The Indigenous Eyes Ecological Park consists of several exhibits that describe the natural and cultural history of the island. The Ecological Reserve consists of twelve lagoons with fresh water, in which we can enjoy a pleasant bath. The name of the park was decided by the eye shape that its lagoons acquire.
Cayo Levantado is a small island paradise in the bay of Samana, sometimes called "Bacardi Island" because in the 1970s this brand made a commercial on this small island. It is the only island in the Dominican Republic where a hotel has been built, the Bahia Principe Cayo Levantado, which is a reasonably sized 5-star all-inclusive resort with 268 rooms. The island can only be accessed by boat, one part is public and one part is reserved for hotel guests. Spend the day swimming, sunbathing, kayaking, paddle boarding or even snorkeling in the crystal clear waters of Cayo Levantado and then enjoy fresh fish or seafood caught the same day by the locals. This small island paradise is one of the places to absolutely see during a stay on the Samana peninsula. Be aware that there may be restrictions on tours when large cruise ships arrive on the island with their thousands of tourists.

Bayahibe packs its own punch in white sand beaches. The village itself counts a small, brilliant stretch facing the main road, uncrowded during the day as most visitors head to the nearby offshore islands. As five o’clock strikes, the beach comes alive with the bars, cafes, and restaurants that line it, offering happy hour specials as locals and visitors stop for a sundowner, while waiting on one of the most beautiful sunsets in the country.
It is located southwest of the island in the municipality of Miches, located northeast of the country. It is located in a wild area of the island away from the tourist and visited places of the country. It is a totally natural beach of green and crystalline waters is a totally virgin beach and little visited by local and foreign tourists, considered by many as a hidden tropical treasure for the enormous virgin beauty and natural charm it possesses, its calm waters are surrounded by coconut trees and lacks hotels in its surroundings which makes it more special for the peace and harmony that is perceived there. As it is a virgin and hidden beach the journey to get there is a bit long and its streets are not in good condition so to access it you have to do it in a 4×4 vehicle or in an appropriate vehicle because of the difficulty of the street, the journey for the beautiful view of the bay is worth it. Because this beach is free of businesses selling food and beverages therefore anyone who wants to get there and spend an excellent day at the beach will have to bring their food and drink. It is also worth mentioning the beautiful sunsets that you can witness where the sun is hidden by the green sea and the beautiful palm trees, they are a spectacle.
